Convert any alphabetic text to a standard representation (in effect, a transliteration) using Latin-script cognate letters. To be used with Cyrillic, Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew.
Due to the absence of some precomposed forms, non-cognates may be used to preserve the 1-1 character correspondence.

At the moment, all Chinese Character converters only support Traditional Chinese input. For Simplified Chinese and Shinjitai, I recommend using a converter such as this one to obtain a proper input sequence for use in these tools.
In the interest of general usage and easy recognition, compatibility forms replacing orthodox characters with their traditional variants are always used. See the source file for a list of substitutes of unsupported Unicode characters. See here for a full list of the forms not yet encoded in Unicode.
